Hey, team BRP, I met Matt at Jazz Fest in New Orleans. He’s a cool Philly guy and runs a facebook page called Philly Music Scene that you ought to check out. Here’s the link: www.facebook.com/phillymusicscene. It’s got lots of great stuff on it, so do yourself a favor and give it a look. And then look again. If you are in town this Saturday (June 10), the annual Wayne Music Festival is taking place from 2-10 pm. Rusted Root, Matt McAndrew and Huffamoose are the headliners, but there are plenty of other bands playing. Here’s the link: http://waynemusicfestival.com If you are as frugal as me, you’ll be thrilled to know that this festival is FREE. Yum! I also met Dave from Toronto who is just rockin’ it north of the border. He’s sent me some great photos of his music “man cave,” and recently hosted a live music event in his back yard! Here are some pics from the music room. I’m not quite up to hosting a concert in my back yard yet, but BRP is going to surprise you soon by popping up in the most unlikely of places. In the meantime, I’ll still be here in a very likely place, and hope to see you when you swing by. I try to post a few times a week, so check back when the opportunity arises and be sure to scroll down so you don’t miss anything.
